How to Find Your Ring Size and Coin Ring Information
If you don't know your ring size, cut a four-inch piece of string and wrap it snugly (not too tight) around the knuckle of the finger you intend to wear your ring on. Mark where the string overlaps and use a ruler to measure the length in millimeters. It also helps to measure the finger where the ring will sit. We can size a ring with these measurements.
Please note that the photos of the intact coins on each listing are for illustrative purposes only and not necessarily a photo of the actual coin the ring was made from.
Most coin rings can be sized up or down, up to one full size. There are selection buttons on each modifiable ring to specify changes to the ring size. A choice can also be made to have a natural, high luster polish or an aged patina polish applied. If no choice is made for finish, the ring will be as pictured.
All coin rings come in a plastic bag with a polish cloth. Each ring is finished with Renaissance Wax after polishing. This helps to keep the finish new looking and prevent the typical black or green finger that results from silver and copper jewelry. The wax will wear off over time. Any type of past wax can be used to lightly wax the ring when necessary. The aged patina will also wear off over time but if the ring is cleaned only by rubbing with a soft cloth, a natural patina will develop in place of the applied patina.
Keeping your coin ring in a sealed plastic bag will generally prevent tarnish. Give the ring a soft rub with a jewelry cloth occasionally. A periodic wash with warm water and blue Dawn dish soap should be all the extra cleaning your ring requires.
